COMMERCIAL OVERHEAD DOOR TECHNICIAN

Location: Vancouver, BC

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Part-time, on call

SALARY: $30.00/h-$40.00/h

SCHEDULE: MON-FRI (8 hour shifts + overtime)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install, repair and maintain overhead /rolling doors, operators and gate systems. You must have experience with Parking Gates, Operators, Rolling Doors and Sectional Doors (Gate Operator experience is an asset).

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Class 5 driver’s license with good abstract. Abstract must be supplied.
of 2 years experience working as an overhead door technician
Solid welding experience and competence
Experience with electrical control wiring
Mechanically and technically inclined
General construction knowledge
Experience with power and hand tools
Physically fit and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high-quality work ethic
Comfortable working at heights (ladders and lifts are sometimes utilized)
Good communication and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and motivated; willingness to learn
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

RESIDENTIAL GARAGE DOOR TECHNICIAN (HELPER)

Location: Vancouver, BC

SALARY: $17.00/h-$25.00/h

SCHEDULE: MON-FRI (8 hour shifts + overtime)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Overhead Door Technician (Helper) you will work along-side a certified technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all makes of overhead doors and openers.
